26th November was a record-breaking day for SAL. Three car carriers arrived at the SAL-terminal at the same time, carrying a total of 2,300 finished vehicles.
Our team of stevedoring specialists were ready from the early morning hours, securing a smooth and effective unloading of the three vessels. One of these vessels, Aquamarine Ace, is the largest vessel ever of its type to have called at the Port of Esbjerg.

The Port of Esbjerg is the largest port in Denmark for vehicle import. For the whole of 2015, the number of finished vehicles to arrive at the SAL-terminal in Esbjerg is expected to exceed 60,000.
