SAL hosted the latest ECG Maritime & Ports Working Group meeting in Esbjerg

23. June 2025

In June, we had the pleasure of hosting the ECG Maritime & Ports Working Group – a network bringing together key players from finished vehicle logistics across Europe.

The collaboration within ECG is essential because it allows us to share knowledge, address common challenges, and develop industry standards that strengthen the entire value chain while creating more efficient and safer processes. At the recent meeting in Esbjerg, we focused on critical topics such as safe handling of electric vehicles, the need for unified technical standards, and upcoming CO₂ reporting requirements.

It is in forums like this that we grow smarter together and find practical solutions to complex issues — ranging from green transition and digitalization to technological innovation and evolving market conditions impacting the entire industry.

Being part of ECG means having a strong platform where ports, terminals, and transport operators collaborate, build networks, and ensure the whole sector moves forward in unison with a clear focus on sustainability and innovation.

We look forward to continuing our active participation in ECG and to the next meeting, where we can once again exchange experiences and develop new solutions together.
