auto Terminal

Our Auto Terminal has a storage area of 150,000 sqm purpose-built for securing an efficient and damage-free handling of finished vehicles inbound and outbound connecting Sea, Rail and Road. The storage area is expandable upwards, enabling us to store an additional number of vehicles if required – also on very short notice.

Key location
The SAL Auto Terminal is strategically located at the Port of Esbjerg, providing an easy access to a large number of intermodal transport connections. We are therefore able to offer a speedy and cost-effective delivery of finished vehicles to Scandinavia, Central Europe and the UK .

Operating around the clock
The terminal operates all hours, every day, to eliminate congestion and secure a fast turn-over. During periods of high volumes and vessel bunching, our advanced scheduling system and modern facilities enable us to keep efficiency at the highest level.

Registration and tracking
The location of each vehicle is carefully registered using a barcode scanner, and any technical service on a vehicle is also registered. With our integrated IT-solutions, customers are able to access this data in real time, enabling them to monitor when specific cars are ready to be serviced or transported to their end destination.
